    Things Web Designers Shouldn’t Do Pt. 1

    Here’s a list of things I hate to see or find whenever I’m browsing:

    Automatically resize the browser window: I have my browser window resized to the size I want, I dont want it smaller or bigger or maximized, ok? Thanks for not messing around with my browser window.

    Top layer flash ads: yup those that cover up the text you are reading, and you have to find the close[x] button.

    Sound in flash ads: I don’t want to be browsing at 3 in the morning and have a freaking talking emoticon scare the hell out of me.

    Background music: If I’m browsing around, there’s a 99% chance I’m listening to my music, I don’t need your playlist, I’d rather listen to my own crappy one.

    Over Advertise: Ok, we all want to make money off our website, but trust me, most people are with me on this one. If I go to a site where there is a top ad banner, sidebar banners and adsense links ever X number of paragraph lines, I will just sail away.

    Max sez: Relaunch!

    Finally got around to finish my blog theme, yay! I went out of my way this time with my usual white background designs, and went for a dark one. There are still bugs to be worked around (and btw, it’s still not ie-proof) only tested it in Safari and Firefox. Feedback is always welcome!
