1. Top 5 movie car chases

I love cars, I love speed and the sound of a revved-up engine. So it’s no surprise I like a good car chase. Who doesn’t anyway?

So as a tribute to great car chases, here’s my list of the best film chases ever, which I don’t ever get tired of watching over and over again.

    5. Bad Boys II

Actually not one of my favorite movies, but its a great chase anyhow so it made my #5 spot.

    4. The Matrix Reloaded

The fact that they actually built the highway in order to film this chase sequence got it into my list, well also the music, the Cadillacs, guns, explosions and everything that goes on on this chase. Its great. The last part when Trinity is driving the motorcycle is the cherry on the ice cream.

    3. The Italian Job

This remake of the 1969 film, did the trick taking the new mini coopers and pushing them to their limits. I gotta admit, I’m a sucker for mini’s.

    -1 for poor vid quality

    2. Gone in Sixty Seconds

Oh man, where do I start with this one… The cars, the chases, Eleanor… and admit it, you still fantasize about banging Angelina Jolie while she boosts a Ferrari for you. The best chase in this movie: Nicolas Cage driving the 1967 Shelby G.T. 500.

    1. Ronin

What’s not to love about Robert de Niro pulling his Peugeot’s e-brake to catch the really really hot Natascha McElhone ? This movie has it all to make it to the #1 spot of my list: narrow European streets, great cast, great European cars, freakin’ long chases. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it.

    (sorry its not in English)

Honorable Mention: Smokey and the Bandit

I know I’m going old school with this one… but hey the movie is great, the Trans am pwns ass, and it makes you wonder when did Sally Field stopped being so hot!
